VICTORY AGAIN! JUST ONE DAY LATER
Your Civil Activism Stymied $27 Million in Federal Propaganda Dollars
In a document released to the N.H. Fiscal Committee yesterday, DHHS Commissioner Lori Shibinette withdrew her request to approve $27 million earmarked for New Hampshire to fund 13 new agents dedicated to promoting the vaccine to people who don’t want it and also potentially ceding control of the state’s pandemic response to the federal government. We believe your efforts calling and emailing Fiscal Committee members yesterday led to this decision, protecting New Hampshire sovereignty for another day.
In news published by the New Hampshire Bulletin, it appears that the Commissioner is still seeking $4.6 million to be reallocated from an American Rescue Plan grant to the vaccination program. The Bulletin did not report what the money would be used for specifically, but noted that it would be implemented absent language that seemingly handed over state sovereignty to the federal government. We see this as a win, but must remain vigilant to make sure the grant language that threatens New Hampshire sovereignty does not come into play again.
As part of our vigilance, we are still seeking your signatures on our petition to make sure that the Fiscal Committee and Executive Council know that we do not want federal dollars to fund vaccine propaganda in our state. We also want to prevent any expansion of the state’s vaccine database until we can ensure it is operating lawfully. We will continue to ask the Legislature to add an opt-in provision, at the very least, to ensure no citizen is catalogued by the state who hasn’t authorized his or her addition to the database. The petition also makes it clear that the state should not accept any contracts with language that gives the federal government authority over our public health programs.
